Up for sale is a gorgeous, authentic full-sized antique English ironstone master wash basin and pitcher set manufactured by the highly collectible Keeling & Co. of Burslem, England.
This stunning set features a quintessential late-Victorian Aesthetic Movement design with a deep, crisp blue transferware pattern of oversized chrysanthemums and delicately detailed, floating swallowtail butterflies.

The pitcher boasts wonderful structural architecture, highlighted by a multi-lobed, scalloped geometric spout and an elegant, relief-molded faux-bamboo spine on the handle.

This is a heavy, substantial, true full-sized statement piece perfect for a historic farmhouse, Victorian decor, or an elegant floral display.

Condition Report
Pitcher/Vase: Excellent, very good antique condition. The glaze is bright and clean with no chips, cracks, or structural damage. The scalloped rim and bamboo handle are completely intact.

Basin/Bowl: Good antique condition. The interior bottom of the bowl shows light, age-appropriate cosmetic crazing (glaze crackling) and minor, faint staining from historical use. These flaws are entirely cosmetic, do not impact the structural integrity of the piece, and are completely hidden from view when the pitcher is resting inside the basin.

Pitcher is around 11.75" tall the basin is 16" Diameter. This was the actual full size basin during Victorian times. Authentic Full size collectors pieces in this condition from any maker are hard to come by, but Keeling & Co. of Burslem, England are highly sought after.
