Rare Antique Nippon Hand-Painted 10-Inch Porcelain Serving Bowl – Pagoda Backstamp (c. 1891–1921)

Item Overview:
For your consideration is a stunning, authentic antique Japanese export porcelain serving bowl from the historic Nippon era. This large, 10-inch bowl features an exquisite, fully hand-painted floral motif showcasing delicate white and soft pink dogwood or apple blossoms. The flowers are set against a beautifully blended satin gradient background of cream, tan, and soft sage tones.

Border & Edge Detailing:
The interior rim is decorated with a continuous, highly stylized geometric honeycomb/chain-link pattern. The outermost edge is finished with a delicate gold-gilded rim.

Backstamp & Authenticity:
The underside features the scarcer and highly collectible blue/grey Japanese Pagoda (Castle) mark, accompanied by the text "HAND PAINTED" and "NIPPON". This specific mark definitively dates the piece to the pre-1921 export period, making it a wonderful addition to any advanced Japanese porcelain collection.
